Here we are - the official Smith Butchers site! We won't butcher your family - but we will supply them with some superb meat products.  Since time immemorial we have proudly purveyed our range of fine meats and game to the more discerning citizens of Mapperley and district, high above the leafy suburbs of Nottingham.

 CHRISTMAS FAYRE 2016   To avoid disappointment orders will soon be taken for farm fresh turkeys, capons, free range geese, ducks, chickens, glorious joints of Cheshire oak gammons (plain and smoked), succulent pork from our free range pigs and farm fresh boneless joints of turkey breast. Order now before they are all gobbled up ! All our traditional scotch beef is hung for 20 days and is highly recommended. On the day of collection   free car parking for 2 hours. Donít forget your pigs in blankets, 4 kinds of sausage meat from our free range pigs + traditional cocktail sausages + homemade bacon (plain and smoked).

We are purveyors of Scotch beef, spring lamb, locally farmed beef and pork, veal and free range chickens. Calves liver is usually available. Exotic meats stocked include fresh water crocodile (at least the water is fresh!), kangaroo and ostrich - ideal for weight watchers.

union jack   Our flagship product is the homemade sausage - and we make 40 varieties through the year.  Gluten-free sausages are available. And we are specialists in dry cured bacon, made on the premises. 

Open 6 days a week from 7:30 AM til 5:00 PM. Free car parking.
